Our Journey

Sprouting Smarties is a delightful kid's books brand founded by Kiran Nayyar that seeks to create a nurturing space for young readers and their parents. The author Lipika Nayyar, is a chartered accountant, parent of two and a storyteller. The brand focuses on early values, fun learning, and Indian storytelling.

🌱 Beginning

 

It all began with a simple need, when we were  searching for good mythological books for my daughters. We wanted stories that were easy to understand, filled with strong values, and rooted in our culture. But we couldn’t find anything that truly spoke to young minds in a simple, engaging way. That’s when we decided to start creating our own stories, that not only teach good habits but also introduce children to our rich heritage.​

What began as a personal effort soon grew into a deep passion, a desire to educate and empower children through storytelling. Our vision is to nurture emotional intelligence, self-awareness and cultural pride in young hearts. Through meaningful stories, rooted in timeless values and Indian mythology, we aim to spark curiosity, kindness, and confidence in every child.
